John Rocca has nearly 20 years’ experience in corporate site selection, economic incentives, portfolio strategy, and economic development consulting. His expertise spans advisory consulting for Fortune 1000 companies with business requirements for new data centers, shared services/back-office facilities, e-commerce fulfillment, manufacturing plants, R&D centers/labs, and call center/customer service facilities across North America.
Mr. Rocca has provided advisory services in corporate site selection and incentive negotiation services for business expansion for is for companies, including: Volvo, UBS, Level 3, Nestle, Newegg, Dollar General, The Walt Disney Company, AT&T, Akzo Nobel, Pepsi Bottling Group, Aryzta, Cigna, Cool Planet, Loews Hotels, PR Newswire, Western Asset Management, and others.
John previously served as a Managing Director in the Strategic Consulting practice at CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services provider, from 2001 to Q1 2015. Prior to that, he was with Deloitte in its corporate site selection practice from 1998 to 2001. He also served as an associate with KMG Consulting, a Los Angeles based boutique real estate and urban economics consulting firm, providing real estate economic analyses and financial consulting services for investors, developers, public and private sector clients.
Mr. Rocca launched his independent consulting firm in early 2015, John Rocca Consulting Services (JRCS), LLC and is assisting companies with business consulting services. He advises national, state and local economic development organizations on economic development strategy, marketing, real estate development feasibility, labor markets and best practices.
